5 Sanity Savers for Parents

  1. Develop Parents own Txt talk starting with the classic WTF - Why The Face - gotta love it!!!
  2. Go for a walk - a really long walk - about 50km. That's the distance from Brisbane to the Gold Coast isn't it?
  3. Talk back to teenagers using single syllable grunts.
  4. Practice cloud vaporising - but you have to believe - does it work on teenagers too?
  5. Light bulb joke - How many parents does it take to change a lightbulb? None. Leave the lightbulb you can't see the mess in the teenagers room with the light out.

  1. I'm lucky ... I only have 1 'teenager'. We were shopping for new jeans, as you must all know if you have 'girl ones', they never seem to have anything to wear ... anyway on special, so mum (me) was happy, apparantly we could get another pair for free, and the wonderful young sales girl showed me a pair of really faded ones with rips everywhere, & I said that was not her taste. WELL!!!! .... they were sick, fitted great & the washing instructions are like washing a pair of stockings ... but she has something to wear for a couple of weeks & I have to wash them! I must still be a pretty cool parent, mine is still talking to me & I am her friend on facebook. :)
